Meet the Board


Royston Kymberly

Royston Kymberly (National Manager)
Royston Kymberly is CEO and founder of The International Tennis Academy UK, Head of Elite Academy UK, and Executive Editor of UK Tennis Magazine. Royston has been involved in tennis coaching for over 20 years and has worked with players from all levels of the game. He is LTA, RPT, MTCA and Bollettieri Academy Qualified and has extensive experience in IT and Business Management.  

Royston has also worked as a consultant to the Gaming Industry and was instrumental in the introduction of many Western Casino Operations into Asia & Eastern Europe. He is  a Qualified Tai Chi Practitioner and NLP Consultant

Paul Braithwaite

Paul Braithwaite (Chairman)

Paul is an LTA Senior Coach who has been an active member of TenniscoachUK for over 25 years and has worked alongside the Board for much of that time.  Paul is very much a "people person” and specializes in guidance and mentoring services. He currently holds a diploma in youth and community work and coaches at Shambrook Tennis Club in Bedfordshire.

Mark Furness
Mark Furness (Board Member)

 MA in Leisure Management - Sheffield University
- Embarked on a full time tennis coaching career in 1989
- Pro Badge in 1995.
- Mark is an expert at organising and running holiday tennis camps, with 20 years success as club coach. 
Mike Lipschitz
Mike Lipschitz (Board Member)

Mike's Tennis Academy was founded by Mike Lipschitz in 2004 after 20 years teaching tennis in Europe and the UK. Mike is also a Physical Education specialist & History teacher. and has degrees in History and Philosophy.

He started teaching tennis in 1989,and has worked in Holland, Germany, Spain and Portugal. In 1996 he was appointed Head Coach to the Cambridge Lawn Tennis Club.  Mike gained a diploma in Sports Psychology in 1999 and is also qualified by USTA and RPT Mike has trained at the South African Tennis Coaches Association and the Bolletieri . Academy. Mike has also received the Lawn Tennis Associations Club Coaches Award (CCA.
